A Look Into The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8Posted by On

The Sony Xperia X8 is considered as the Goldilocks of the Xperia range of smart phones.  The X10 is a little too big for some and the X10 Mini is a tad bit too small.  The X8, distributed exclusively by O2, hits just the right spot which is perfect for a lot of people.

The X8 is very similar to how the X10 Mini looks like. However one of its greatest advantages is the increasing size and resolution of the screen.  It was originally programmed to run on Android 1.6 but it was now upgraded to the 2.1 version.   This posed a little problem for some of its users as they feel that this is making the phone crash and freeze in the most unexpected moments.

The phone is saved by its excellent connectivity via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and 3.5mm audio jack.  You can watch videos and play music in its media player then listen to the FM radio with RDS.  You can also find your way all over the city using aGPS via Google Maps or you can also use the demo version of the WisePilot Turn by Turn navigation software.

You have 128MB of memory in the Xperia X8 but you can expand that up to 16GB.  It has a 600 MHz Qualcomm CPU processor, which is similar to the one that is used in the X10 Mini.  You will be very happy with the longer battery life which can give you more hours of talk time and media enjoyment.

TIP: Did you know that you can now sell your old Xperia X8 online, and take part in the many mobile recycling programs that are available in the UK, where you can get cash for phones at the click of a button.
